You can receive notifications from your camera assistant in multiple ways: on your phone, through the camera’s built-in siren, or via an external siren device mounted inside your home.
To set up notifications, you can access Notification Settings in two ways:
- Go to the menu and select Notifications.
- Tap the gear icon (settings) located at the bottom-right corner of the live streaming feed on the home page.
Once in the Notification Settings, you have two options:
1. Customize Alerts
You can choose to turn notifications on for all events or selectively enable alerts for specific types of events based on your preferences.
- Push Notifications: Alerts are sent to your phone when a person and/or pet enters the smart fence area you've created. This notifies you when someone or a pet is near the pool or when distress is detected.
- Siren Settings: This activates the camera’s built-in siren and any connected external siren devices based on the enabled events.
2. Smart Siren Mode
Configuration options for the Smart Siren feature as below.
Important Notes:
- Enabling Smart Siren Mode may result in non-compliance with building code safety requirements. We do not recommend using this mode if your pool is still under construction or pending inspection.
- When Smart Siren Mode is enabled, Push Notifications and Siren Settings will automatically be disabled and grayed out.
