CamerEye offers a limited warranty of defects in materials and workmanship for a period of one (1) year after original purchase from an authorized CamerEye dealer. This means that if the components in the shipped box aren't functional or if the components aren’t working correctly, we'll resolve or replace them, at our option.
Because CamerEye cannot control the quality of products sold by unauthorized sellers, the CamerEye warranty does not apply to products purchased from an unauthorized CamerEye dealer or reseller. CamerEye reserves the right to reject warranty claims from purchasers for systems purchased from unauthorized sellers, including unauthorized Internet sites. But this doesn't mean you can abuse your system and expect us to fix it for free.
We don't cover external damages on camera, siren or door sensor, loss or theft. You will void your warranty if you open your camera, place the camera underwater, or expose your camera to artificial sources of heat. Proof of purchase is required for all warranty claims and service requests, so hold onto your purchase/invoice copy. This warranty does not cover damage caused by excessive wear or misuse.
